The entire composition is supported by a thin metal element curled up on itself, from which many small branches develop, perfectly reproducing the effect of the branch of a shrub or bush. Eight patiently shaped butterfly-shaped sheet metal elements are placed on top of it: four of them have a bright coppery colour, two are embellished with a silver shade and the remaining two stand out with their intense dark bronze colour. Between the profiles of the depicted butterflies, it is possible to see those of at least two different species, distinguishable by the shape and edges of the wings.
