This artwork depicts a large number of water lilies, more or less stylised, of different shapes and colours that together form a large composition. Here's their description: there are a number of leaves that are perforated, as if only the vein of the petal and the leaf had been preserved and all the rest discarded. Then there are what look more like plates than flowers, small plates that define the maximum degree of stylisation in this artwork. In short, what we see is the idea of a group of water lilies. We can distinguish their shape and imagine them standing on the surface of the water, but they are certainly not faithfully rendered as if they were real but it would be sufficient to list the colours of this composition: bottle green, light brown, black, gold and pearl white to make them take shape.
These are the dimensions of the artwork: H 67 x W 134 x D 7 cm. This is a painting that instead of being made with brush strokes as Monet would have done, given that he was an expert on water lilies, one flower at a time was welded together. In fact, the whole work is handmade and can be hung vertically or horizontally. Whichever way you prefer it, we are sure it will bring a touch of sophistication to your home.
