The woman who inspired the artist Edgar Ramirez in this composition was must have had a very striking dress, so much so that more than half of the space in this painting was dedicated to it. This is the first element, the most striking one, that catches the eye: it is a dress that starts from a very normal bust but widens out into an overhang so vaporous that it could be the canvas for a hot-air balloon. It shows brush-strokes on a background ranging from very dark brown to light grey, while the details of the dress are orange, red, pink and light blue coloured.
The woman depicted has a gathered hairstyle and black hair, a pale complexion and a slender body, transmitting much delicacy. The rest of the composition is rather peculiar, as there are some decorations in relief : in the upper left-hand corner there are numbers and letters of unclear meaning, while on the left-hand side there is a lighter, different rectangle, like a sort of patch included into the canvas. The canvas dimensions are 100 cm wide by 100 cm high, it is also painted on the edges and rests on an gallery grade frame.
