What is life if not a game? This artwork wants to remind us just that, to bring us back in touch with our inner child, reminding us of the fragility of perceivable reality, as fragile as a balloon. On the other hand, it is only what we see, the aesthetic rendering of existence, but the purity of our true self is something else entirely. And so this sculpture embodies this aspect: what we perceive is only a superficial feeling and there is much more beyond it. But this fragility of perception is not reminded us just by any balloon, but one that takes the shape of a dog. As if to say, if this is only an apparent reality then let's not forget about playing, let's not forget the passion for life and for carefree moments, the same that children enjoy who, according to the message of the artist, are closer to the true essence than we are as adults.
The dimensions of this sculpture are: H 46 x W 36 x D 18 cm. Despite its size, since resin is a rather light material the sculpture weighs just 4.2 kg. It was created entirely by hand, and its craftsmanship is confirmed by a certificate that ships with the artwork.
