The modern resin sculptures of Arte Dal Mondo combine design and colour, providing the right answer to those who want to furnish contemporary and trendy environments with an exclusive style. The sculptures and statues for interiors are made of resin and fibreglass, two materials that are very popular today for creating furnishing accessories.
Our modern sculptures in resin and fibreglass are made entirely by hand and include several stages. In the preliminary stage, our designers make sketches of the works on paper, then the sculptors hand-shape the clay models, also known as 'cores', which are preparatory to the creation of the rubber moulds.
The resin is added to a hardening liquid and poured into the moulds by hand, then left to harden. After the resin is hardened, the moulds are opened and the raw statues are removed. This stage is followed by another that includes the cleaning of the sculptures from any residues of the workmanship, repair and sculpture hand-sanding.
After washing the sculptures by hand so that the surface of the fibreglass sculptures is perfect, decoration is carried out using a thick paint called "primer", which provides an ideal base for the final decoration. The latter will take into account the desired final effect, such as matt, smooth, metallic or lacquered.
For fibreglass sculptures and statues that cannot stand on their own, we provide a marble base to support them safely and firmly. The details of the resin sculptures are accurate and the artisan decoration work is meticulous.
Would you like to embellish your home with unique works made entirely by hand? The value of these modern resin statues increases when they are hand-made. These are not mass-produced pieces with industrial machinery, but unique sculptures accompanied by a certificate of guaranteed craftsmanship.
