Metal sculptures: how we make them

ADM Design metal sculptures are made by our artisans by welding metal parts that are suitably shaped and then decorated. The welds are all made with metal wire: a direct current welding machine is used, equipped with a control panel that controls the output of the metal.

In certain cases the sculpture is assembled on a marble support that adds value to the creation and makes it stable. All the processes are exclusively carried out by hand based on artisan techniques, so making these objects real works of art. In the manual welding process, it is the solderer who manually adjusts the equipment, handling the heat source with extreme caution. The sculpture can be made by melting the metal with which it is made or by using different filler metals. The production ranges from geometric to floral compositions with a polished finish: lines, bands, cubes and circles are combined with both cold and warm colours, meeting every taste. By welding together these metal parts, our artisans create true metal works of art. Every day, they face new challenges to offer different and innovative solutions for interior design.
