An athletic male figure captured in a position of precarious balance, with the entire weight of his body concentrated on his forefeet: Balance is a figurative sculpture made of resin, the result of a completely manual process, which depicts a man in a crouched position, with his heels raised, his head bent forward and his arms stretched out to the sides, just as if the man were trying to balance his body and maintain the complex pose.
The work, made lively and shiny by the bright red colour , is enhanced by the lacquering treatment of the surface, which highlights the lines of the sculpture, pointing out its dry physicality and the careful work of muscle definition of the bust, back, arms and legs. The play of reflections created by the incident light seems to give life to the strong and perfectly symmetrical shapes of this figure, embellishing the composition and transforming it into an element capable of catalysing the viewer's attention.
