What we see in this statue is clearly a figure of a man, but not a man in the usual sense, but the shifted and ideal idea of a human being. We can see a perfectly proportioned body, without any hair or attributes. It is an image of an ideal that tends towards perfection and seeks to achieve it through the removal of its physical and mental burdens. The result is an androgynous figure that is crouched on its knees and at the same time on the soles of its feet, with its raised heels touching each other. The strong legs support the bust, the arms are spread apart and the fingers point upwards, while on the contrary the head looks downwards. This is the perfect balance that this being achieved by stripping itself of superfluous ornaments, its role now is to instil the same feeling of peace in the viewer.
It is a statue made entirely of black lacquered resin and placed on a white marble base. The same model is available in many other colours. The dimensions of this sculpture are: 31.5 cm high, 44 cm wide, 21 cm thick. The whole sculpture was entirely made by hand and you will receive a certificate of craftsmanship.
