This straightforward and linear artwork is based on the repetition of a single geometric shape: the spiral. On a frame made of several metal rings, several spirals created from a metal wire are welded on the frame. These spirals have only two colours, gold and black, sometimes fading into each other. The spirals are different in size, the smallest are the gilded ones.
This work of art is H 70 x W 143 x D 7 cm. It can be positioned horizontally or vertically, as desired, since its supports are designed to allow the two orientations. The entire artwork is handmade and it will be delivered together with a certificate of craftsmanship.
A final note on the meaning of the spiral shape: An endless geometry that symbolises evolution or regression. One of the most unique symbols that nature itself offers from shells to galactic spirals. It is also a symbol in our minds: Jung stated that the spiral is the symbol of new life born from contact with the creative and healing energies that reside in the depths of our psyche.
