Lightness is a modern sculpture made of resin with a satinized finish and available in the ADM Design catalogue in two colours: this one we show is white and gold satin-finished The statue rests on a small dark marble base. The work of art has great charm and depicts a female figure balanced on a sphere, on which it rests with the same delicacy as a butterfly. We note first of all that the female figure is idealised, becoming a universal stereotype of femininity embodying the values of grace, beauty and elegance. The body appears graceful and balanced in an almost surreal way: squatting, resting on one leg and balanced on the other one, with her arms outstretched. The figure of the woman appears concentrated but not contracted: the hands soft and with the fingers in a resting position are a sign of this. The indexes are an exception, stretched to give the woman more balance. Lightness is made entirely by hand by our artists using artisan techniques and is shipped with its certificate of craftsmanship.
It will easily find its place in an elegantly furnished living room, to which it will give a touch of original refinement.
