This artwork depicts an abstract figure of a woman seated in a purely contemplative pose. There is no dynamic tension in the figure, everything seems to transmit peace, rest, absence of anxiety. The small woman's head, gracefully rested on her left hand, is slightly tilted to one side, recalling the pose of a woman meditating, lost in her own inner world. The arm not supporting the head embraces the bent legs, with the two elegant, small feet asymmetrically positioned and resting firmly on the ground.
In terms of proportions, the woman appears slender in the upper part of the figure: her neck is thin, as her arms, and on the thin bust we notice the small and elegant breasts of a young woman. The figure, on the other hand, has more strong proportions in the lower part, with voluptuous and extremely sinuous, soft and feminine shapes, which can be appreciated in different ways depending on the angle of view.
The artwork is made of resin, a solid material that allows this particular metal-effect finish. The colour proposed here enhances even more the sequence of curves and roundness of the seductive abstract figure of a woman, creating an interesting play of light and reflections.
