Few women were more courageous in history than the Amazons, true queens of war. They had a religion of violence that gave rise to many myths, above all the one that was never really verified: the cutting off of the breast, a practice that would have made them more skilled in the shooting of spears and arrows. It is probably this historical fact, for which, we repeat, no proof was ever found, that the artist wanted to mention to create his personal iconography of the Amazons. In this work of art, in fact, we see that a golden insert is added to this black bust, which is also rather sensual, like a kind of armour that acts on the right side of this fighter.
The sizes of this sculpture are: 1/2 metre high, 24 cm wide and 10 cm thick. We remind you that the sculpture is made of resin but it rests on a black marble base.
