These large gilded twin cherries are the core of the work: perfectly identical and symmetrically arranged, they also act as the base and support for the sculpture. The metal stem completes the illusion of facing a sweet fruit and, just like two cherries, it joins the two drupes.
The special finishing treatment applied to the gilded surface highlights this fancy Pop Art sculpture. The surface is shiny, bright and reflective, perfectly mimicking the effect of a metallic coating.
The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of craftsmanship, a document certifying the handmade nature of the resin sculpture.
