The fascinating Japanese art of Origami, according to which identifiable shapes can be obtained by folding paper using a specific technique. The sculpture we present on this page is inspired by Japanese Origami: it is a nice and lively sculpture depicting a small multi-faceted origami bird made of red lacquered resin, which perfectly renders the facets of the origami bird's profile. The combination of broken lines and polished surfaces moulds the outline of the bird in an unmistakable way, almost as if it were coming from a red sheet of paper.
The material used to produce the sculpture is resin, skilfully processed by our artisans, whose work is certified by an exclusive certificate of craftsmanship that accompanies all the sculpture of the ADM Design online catalogue.
The bird is represented with a large unfolded head while it is flying diagonally. The bird's tail is straight and has three points. The bird's head ends in a delicate point that recalls the shape of its beak. The sculpture was designed to be hung on the wall, even in several pieces of the same or different colours, for a creative and lively scenic effect.
