Wait is an enigmatic artwork that tries to confuse by offering a few points of reference. We see depicted an abstract woman, her body with large and curvy legs, disproportionate respect to the rest of the limbs. Her arms are long, flexible and very thin just like her head which is little more than a dot. This woman stands with her legs crossed, with one hand resting on her head and the other on an imaginary surface. This artwork is unique because it will force the sculpture to hold a seated position, perhaps on a shelf or television cabinet. Where exactly it does not matter: she will always stay there in that pose that reminds of a long wait and from there the enigma is born: what or who is she waiting for?
